Tomorrow I go to the polls to vote for the county commissioner in my district. The new one is bound to do a better job than what we have had recently, while he is at it maybe he can widen the road over this blind hill. I just hope we the voters make the right decision.
See, this is not a pot hole that might ruin a tire or throw your alignment out, this will injure or kill somebody someday. In normal weather it’s at best two lanes when the snow and ice is on it’s one lane and very scary when you meet up with another vehicle on it.
Do the right thing and fix it please new Mr. County Commissioner.

I got dollar bill in some change the other day, I have seen a bunch of these over the years and have looked at a few but its been a long time. This time I actually remembered about the stamp and went to www.wheresgeorge.com to see where it had been. Recipe: BTT on Toast w/Cheese
So, I was frying up some bacon this evening and just muching when it hit me, the idea of a lifetime, I have to say I may have come up with the ultimate in sandwich. It blends bacon and tuna salad, I have never heard of it have you? Prepare to be amazed by the power of bacon!
In case you are interested here is my recipe for tuna salad.
- 1 recycled butter tub (you don’t actually buy plastic containers do you?)
- 2 cans tuna mostly drained
- 1 generous handful of chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 good sized pile of course chopped dill pickle
- 1 nice sized squeeze of cheap yellow mustard
- 1 nice sized squeeze if REAL mayo.
Combine all ingredients and stir until well blended, then stir it again. When you get it all mixed up simply put the lid on the butter tub and stick it in the fridge, besides its better chilled a bit and this would most definitely make you sick if left to reach room temperature for any amount of time.
I forgot to get chips at the store the last time I went so it looks kind of bare there on the plate all by itself. It doesn’t matter, it sure did eat good just the same.

Payton and Chase's Dogtags
Now I realize this is a long story but, it is an extremely good read and hopefully it will turn out to have a happy ending. Probably not but we can all hope right? There is no good reason for people and animals to have to deal with these type of paramilitary and gestapo tactics. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Somebody needs to fix this mess!

I have watched my fair share of Deadliest Catch and I’ve never seen any of those guys caked up with ice like this. Holy shit man, that has got to be miserable. If this actually happened while surfing, well, this dude has got one hell of a surfing jones. I think I’ll stay in the house and have some coffee.
